Madrid, February the 12th, 2014. Telefónica and Formula One Management have reached an agreement to offer Movistar clients, for the next few years, all Formula 1® Events with a new innovative experience, never seen before in Spain.
Movistar’s clients will enjoy Formula 1® racing in a totally different way, thanks to the new HD Multiscreen Service, that will give simultaneously up to six different feeds without any publicity cuts. The Races will be supplemented with own produced content in an ad hoc TV Channel, totally devoted to Formula 1®, including all the information that surrounds the world’s biggest Motorsport Series from all kinds of angles.
Formula 1® racing can be enjoyed through any Movistar device connected to the Internet, (within the home as well as anywhere else)It will give access to all the best moments, thanks to the VoD Service and the Net Personal Recording Service (NPVR) Movistar launched in December last year.
This investment in to an exclusive channel dedicated to Formula 1® racing is a step further in Telefónica’s strategy to fulfill with great quality content its Pay TV Service with the ultimate technology.
