A meeting organised by the Geological Society in collaboration with the University of Jammu, to explore sustainable resource development in the Himalaya and more widely. The meeting will take place in Ladakh, in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir - an area which state and national governments wish to establish as an example of best practise in sustainable development.
