How immune cells use steroids




- Type 2 T-helper cells produce a steroid that regulates their own proliferation. - This is the first time that scientists have been able to confirm that immune cells produce this steroid. - The findings were made possible by data from the Single-Cell Genomics Centre on the Genome Campus.
